DBC Support - DBC Updates
The following require the last general release (or later) to be already installed.
Unless notified otherwise, all updates are "roll up" updates. No specific prerequisite versions have to be installed.
More detailed update instructions are below.

DBC Finance (x64)
- Version 8.901 (January 13, 2023)
- Download the file, exit DBC Finance and then double click on the update file icon.
DBC Housing (x64)
- Version 9.0.001 (September 22, 2022)
- Download the file, exit DBC Housing and then double click on the update file icon.
DBC Student Loan (x64)
- Version 9.0.001 (September 22, 2022)
- Download the file, exit DBC Student Loan and then double click on the update file icon.
DBC PortOpt
- Version 2.500 (October 14, 2024)
- Download the file, exit DBC PortOpt and then double click on the update file icon.
DBC Debt Manager (x64)
- Version 5.601 (December 05, 2024)
- Download the file, exit DBC Debt Manager and then double click on the update file icon.
DBC Multi-Family/Health Care (x64)
- Version 9.0.001 (September 22, 2022)
- Download the file, exit DBC Multi-Family/Health Care and then double click on the update file icon.

Note, all updates are "roll up" updates, there are no prerequisite versions.
Update instructions for non-users ( IT )
- Make sure noone is running the DBC program.
- Download and save the appropriate .upd file from the links above.
- In the directory where the DBC program is installed, locate iupdate.exe .
- Run iupdate.exe .
- You will be prompted to open a .upd file. Open the .upd file you have just saved.
- You will see a message that the program has been updated.
- The update is installed.
For a silent install:
iupdate -s [ upd_file ]
Update instructions for DBC users (with permissions to overwrite files)
- Make sure noone is running the DBC program.
- In the DBC program, go to Help | Check for Update ( or Automatic Update ) .
- If an update is available, you will be prompted to download/install the update.
- After the program has downloaded the update, it will automatically exit.
- If the update is successful, you should see a message that the program has been updated.
- When you start the DBC program again, it will be the updated version.
An error message indicates one (or more) of the following errors has occurred:
- The user has insufficient permissions to overwrite files.
- A file is in use. You cannot update the program while it is running.
- The downloaded .upd file was corrupted.
- The current DBC program installation is incomplete. It does not have the necessary files to install an update.
